Since we’re starting another E60 M5 manual swap this week, here’s a clip of the AutoSolutions short shifter we just installed in thd shop M5. It’s maybe a touch on the notchy side, but does make shifting these manual V10 sedans even more fun!

The new shop M3s motor looks damn good for nearly

The new shop M3s motor looks damn good for nearly 200,000 miles and even better with these @nrw_design_ aluminum valve covers. We also replaced the failure-prone plastic vanos adjuster caps with washers sold by @carbahnofficial. These install under the main camshaft bolts and are a proper permanent solution that don’t cost an arm and a leg. It had its valve cover gaskets changed on the original magnesium covers only a few years ago and was already leaking again badly.

Check out this sweet 2002 Z3 3.0 that came in for valve cover gasket, plugs, and all the fluids. The previous owner clearly kept on top of oil changes.

All I can say is wow! 304 tig welded stainless for their price is unbeatable, and it directly fit with the cars existing Eisenmann Race mufflers.

This 2011 M3 came to us for a valve cover gasket replacement including new OEM hardware, spark plugs and coils.

Had a sleek Interlagos S85 powered M6 in the shop

Had a sleek Interlagos S85 powered M6 in the shop for an idle actuator replacement. Similar to the throttle actuators, the idle actuators on S65/85 engines can fail due to gear wear or electrical issues. If they do fail, the throttle actuators take over the job of maintaining idle on your engine, which causes excessive wear on them, meaning it's best to swap the idles out as soon as there is an issue.
